We want you to feel confident choosing a thermometer. Please contact us before returning an item so we can provide the correct instructions and return destination.

30-day return and exchange window

Request a return or exchange within 30 calendar days of delivery by emailing [email protected] with your order number, the item and the reason for your request. For a change-of-mind return, the thermometer must be unused, undamaged and complete with its original packaging, instructions and any included accessories. Reasonable inspection is permitted; products damaged through misuse or missing components may not qualify for a full refund. Faulty or incorrectly supplied products are handled separately below.

How to return

1. Contact us within the return window. Include photos if the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
2. Wait for return authorization and the confirmed return address. Our business address is not automatically the return destination.
3. Package the item securely and ship it within 14 calendar days of authorization using a trackable service. Keep your receipt and tracking number.

Who pays return shipping?

For a change of mind or a customer-selected color exchange, you pay return shipping. Original standard outbound shipping is free and no restocking fee is charged for an eligible complete return. For a confirmed defect, shipping damage or an item sent in error, Digitalmeat covers reasonable return shipping or provides a prepaid label and arranges a replacement or refund. Contact us first so you do not incur unapproved costs.

Refunds: 5–7 business days

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email the decision. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after receipt and inspection. Your payment provider may take additional time to post the funds. We do not issue refunds to a different account. If a refund is reduced or declined because of damage or missing components, we will explain the reason.

Exchanges

Eligible color exchanges are subject to availability. Once the return is inspected, we will confirm the replacement arrangement. All current color options cost $49.99. Replacement processing normally takes 1–3 business days, with estimated US transit of 3–4 business days after dispatch. If the requested model is unavailable, we will offer an available option or an eligible refund.

Defects, incorrect items and cancellations

Inspect your delivery and contact us promptly if something is wrong. Do not continue using a damaged thermometer. We will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy. Damage caused by immersion, abuse, unauthorized modification or use outside the supplied instructions is not treated as a manufacturing defect. Cancellation is available before dispatch when possible; after dispatch, the return process applies. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
